Add a way of Flagging a Client who has not attended for a period of time
Useful to quickly identify clients who need follow up/ review appointments etc

I also think a flag to alert clients who have not been seen for a certain period and require following up would be very helpful

Sometimes clients will not attend for a few weeks and the capacity to select how many weeks of non attendance before a flag identifies the client as non atending will be very useful for timely follow up

I would also add that it is even more useful if the 'reminders' feature is not tied to just one specific event but rather can be customised to meet the needs of each individual practice.
For example, set a reminder to do a followup 7 days after the initial visit, or do a long term followup for say 60 days after sessions complete. The options are endless. Even M$ provide a generic reminder feature for Outlook. So far I have found the "Reminders' section to be somewhat useless, but also I'm not sure how to use it. It's confusing as even when I book in a client and tick the 'Email Reminder' or 'SMS Reminder' check box nothing appears in the Reminders list? Huh?
I think the Reminders section should be renamed to 'Messages' and then have a true 'Reminders' section similar to Outlook. I wonder how possible it would be to classify clients into different categories, so if they are X you have a reminder to do task1 and if they are Y you have a reminder to do task 2? Of course this concept can then be extended to messages so if X they receive letter 1 and email 1 and SMS 1 (or SMS series 1) and if Y then 2.... etc....

The alerts sound good. Perhaps they could be called "you have new client alerts". Being able to generate a letter automatically from a template would also be good.

That sounds good and like what we're doing now on an excel spreadsheet. For new referrals we record referral date, days since referral, and the date a reminder letter is sent, usually 28 days after the referral was received. For existing clients, we are alerted after 6 weeks of non-attendance and the date a reminder letter was sent. It's the psychologist who determines if a letter should be sent.
